3 gallon pot. The glaucous blue leaves make an outstanding small shrub in a variety of garden conditions. This native species grows in the understory and does well in shade, but it really performs in light shade or sun. The small clusters of white flowers appear in spring (April in NC), and have a honey-like fragrance. All summer, the blue-grey leaves are attractive and become orange and red in the fall. It is a shrubby plant with many upright growing stems. A sport of 'Mount Airy' PP#15490 USDA Zone 4 ( 6'T x 5'W)
