Pale pink flowers are produced in profusion on this shrub in early autumn. The burgundy new growth is the most outstanding quality of this variety, but the red pigment is found in all parts of the plant from the roots to the bright pink filaments of the flowers. The size of the leaves and character of the plant are similar to the small-leaf form of tea. (Zone 7a) [2 quart pot]
