1 year old seedling.
This species from Yunan, China, was dscribed by Chang and Ye in 1990 and is in section theopsis and has grown into an attractive plant in pots.   Small, five-petaled flowers open in late winter and small glossy pointed leaves are arranged nicely on a compact plant.   We have not tested this outdoors.
