Shipping and Payment Information

Minimum order for shipping is $20.00. Minimum shipping charge is $15.00.

Shipping rates are based on UPS, plus our costs involved in packing your plants. We make every effort to create shipping rates that are fair to you...we make no money on shipping.

For Shipping to California, Oregon and Washington, plants must be inspected by plant inspectors to prevent the spread of pests to those states. We recommend shipping when the plants are dormant and temperatures are moderate (November, February and March). We are not responsible for losses due to delays caused by the inspection process. For Shipping to Oregon, shipments require a State Phytosanitary Certificate (no charge), and notification of Oregon Plant Inspectors, so expect 2-3 week delays in order processing.

Outside of the United States we will ship bare-root plants. Charges include: $75.00 for Phytosanitary Certificate, inspection, plant treatment and packaging; plus U.S. Postal Air Express at cost. If you wish to place an international order, please email us as we don't currently accept them as website orders.

Payment Information:
We accept Visa and MasterCard on mail orders.  Please make sure that your credit card number and expiration date are entered correctly. If you are placing an order by phone, please have your information at the ready. Internet orders accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Please don't ask us to process a Discover card over the phone. We can't at this time. If you are paying by check, cashiers check or money order, please enclose payment with your order as we do not send orders without payment.

Shipping Dates:
We recommend shipping from September 15 until May 31. The optimal time to ship orders is when the plants are dormant but not when they will be exposed to extreme temperatures. We try to ship when the weather is suitable for planting in your area. If you want your order on a specific date please specify details on the order form.

Disclaimer
We ship healthy plants and will replace plants damaged in shipment, however we cannot be responsible for horticultural failures that occur after you receive the shipment. If you receive damaged plants and wish replacements, please inform us within 1 week of receiving the shipment.
