The large Higo form flowers have a pink background with a peppering of deeper pink, carmine stripes and marks, and the Characteristic Higo burst of golden anthers. The bloom is mid-season to late-season, and the growth habit is spreading. This is a sport of Higo 'Shintsukasa-nishiki' and from the Higo collection of Ohta Nursery in Kumamoto, Japan. (Zone 7)

The very large flowers range from single to semi-double, and are remind one of the giant flowers of the mallow hibiscus. The white flowers shade to blush pink toward the center.
