The neon coral pink blooms are produced in abundance and vary from semi-double to peony form, with a bloom time of mid to late season.   This vigorous plant is upright growing and has nice dark green leaves. This is one of Dr. Ackerman's introductions with C. oleifera crossed with spring bloomer.

This bright, crimson red, rose form double has moderately large flowers. It blooms mid-season to late-season. The plant is dense and slow-growing, and the hardiness is excellent. It is a hybrid between 'Mrs. Bertha A. Harms' and 'Variety Z', and was developed by Dr. William L. Ackerman of Ashton, Maryland in 1992. ('Mrs. Bertha A. Harms' X 'Variety Z') [Zone 6b]

One of Dr. Ackerman's more recent introductions, this cultivar has a single white flower with hints of pink at the petal tips. These bloom in the late fall and have vigorous and spreading growth.
