ORDER INFORMATION

All plants in this catalog are available for shipping, except for large plants, indicated as “TOO LARGE,” or listed in the “Large Plants List," these plants are only available for pickup at the nursery.

Minimum order for shipping is $25.00. Minimum shipping charge is $15.00.

For Shipping East of the Rockies, add 25% for packaging and UPS, minimum $15.00.

For Shipping West of the Rockies, add 40% for packaging and UPS, minimum $20.00.

For Shipping to California, Oregon and Washington, plants must be inspected by plant inspectors to prevent the spread of pests to those states. We recommend shipping when the plants are dormant and temperatures are moderate (November, February and March). We are not responsible for losses due to delays caused by the inspection process.

Outside of the United States we will ship bare-root plants.
Charges include: $50.00 for Phytosanitary Certificate, inspection, plant treatment and packaging; plus U.S. Postal Air Express at cost.

Disclaimer:
We ship healthy plants and will replace plants damaged in shipment, however we cannot be responsible for horticultural failures that occur after you receive the shipment. If you receive damaged plants and wish replacements, please inform us within two weeks of receiving the shipment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
USDA Fire Ant Quarantine
Although we usually use very little pesticide, we must treat for Fire Ants to control their spread. The Fire Ant quarantine zone has expanded from Florida to include part of North Carolina and extends west to Texas. The USDA is trying to control the spread of the ants by treating any soil leaving the quarantine zone. Prior to shipping to areas outside the quarantine zone we must treat the root ball of the plants with pesticide. Unfortunately this will require more time for shipping—same day shipping will be impossible and you must use caution when unpacking the plants—we recommend using gloves when handling the soil. This practice will slow the spread of this pest and we will try to keep shipping as efficiently as possible.

Shipping Dates:
We ship from September 15 until May 31, weather permitting. The optimal time to ship orders is when the plants are dormant but not when they will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
We try to ship when the weather is suitable for planting in your area. If you want your order on
a specific date please specify details on the order blank.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

This year we will be accepting credit cards on mail orders. Please make sure that your credit card
number and expiration date are entered correctly.

If you are paying by check, cashiers check or money order, please enclose payment with your order as we do not send orders without payment.

Gift Certificates:
We offer gift certificates in any amount but recommend values of $39 for one plant and $63 for two 2 year old plants (including S & H). Or we can pick a good plant if you specify the color and season of bloom.
