Tea Blending Workshop

Sunday, April 14th, 2024 :  2 - 4 pm

Join us for a relaxing afternoon sipping and crafting blended teas from the gardens at Camellia Forest and create your own signature blend to take home.

Pick your base tea and explore a variety of dried flowers, herbs, and spices. In the first hour, we will talk about how we develop and test our blends, and serve samples of our signature teas, homegrown and hand-processed at Camellia Forest, including favorites (Osmanthus Oolong, Princess Gray), and rare blends such as green with tea flowers or mume blossoms (Japanese flowering apricot).

In the second hour participants will be encouraged to explore the range of ingredients provided for their own blends. Collaboration and taste tests will also be encouraged.  

This class includes 11g of tea base, a variety of blending ingredients, and a tin to store your blend. You may purchase additional blended teas (ours) or tea bases/tins for your own blends. Bases include black, green, oolong, and limited white tea (limited). Other ingredients include tea flowers, mume blossoms, lavender, roses, tulsi, mint, trifoliate bitter orange, ginger, and more.
